Cleaning Team Supervisor

Reports To: Operations Manager

Summary of Position(s):

Under direction of Operations Manager, Cleaning Team Supervisor assigns and supervises the work of the cleaning team, personally performs routine cleaning work as assigned.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Plans, organizes, supervises, assigns and evaluates the work of the cleaning team.

Trains the team in the use of tools, equipment and safe work practices.

Inspects job sites to determine work required and evaluates job performance.

Recommends and implements disciplinary actions as necessary.

Estimates personnel, equipment and material requirements for assigned jobs.

Prepares reports including time cards, worksheets, performance reports, accident reports, inventory requests, etc.

Responds to questions or complaints from customers in a professional manner.

Inspects work in progress and upon completion.

Ensures appropriate safe work practices are being observed.

Coordinates cleaning activities with owner/contractor.

Performs cleaning work.

Participates in meetings as required.

Responds to emergency situations as necessary.

Performs related duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Skills/Attributes/Behaviors Required:

Knowledge of:

Company’s cleaning system, methods, tools and equipment.

Principles and practices of employee supervision, including training, work evaluation and discipline.

Proper mixing and dilution of cleansers.

Skill in:

Planning and coordinating the work of cleaning staff.

Preparing and maintaining a variety of basic written reports.

Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with those encountered in the course of the work

Identifying and implementing effective courses of action to complete assigned work

Coordinating team assignments with other sub-contractors, owners or general contractor

Other Requirements:

Must possess a valid Washington driver’s license and have a satisfactory driving record. Must possess and maintain valid auto liability insurance. Must pass standard background test and drug screening at random. Must possess sufficient strength and stamina to maneuver equipment. Must be willing to work weekends and overtime as necessary. Must be willing to work in Spokane, Spokane Valley, Liberty Lake, Coeur D’Alene and where needed.

Compensation:

Position is Full Time after ninety (90) day Part Time probation period and performance evaluation. Starting pay at $10 per hour with a $1 per hour raise and $300 sign on bonus after completion of probation period, performance evaluation and promotion to Cleaning Team Supervisor. Health Benefits and Paid Vacation available after one (1) year of continuous employment. Salary and Profit Sharing available, depending on performance.
